Start with a question
Solora is building a global community around curiosity, serious inquiry, and the belief that young people should have meaningful opportunities to engage with important ideas. There are several ways to become involved.
Current opportunities
New opportunities are being developed. Join the newsletter to hear about them first.
For young people
Curious about something bigger than the classroom?
You do not need to arrive with a research background. You do not need to know exactly what you want to study. You do not need to have everything figured out.
If you are curious about the world and willing to engage seriously with new ideas, Solora may be a place for you.
Ways to participate may include:
- Research conversations
- Collaborative inquiry
- Projects
- Forums
- International initiatives
- Community discussions
For researchers and scholars
Help young people see how knowledge is made.
Young people benefit from meeting people who are actively working on difficult questions. Researchers and scholars can contribute by:
- Joining a dialogue
- Speaking about their work
- Sharing how they approach questions
- Advising a project
- Helping shape an area of inquiry
We are especially interested in people who can communicate serious ideas without simplifying them beyond recognition.
For practitioners
Research does not exist only inside universities.
Important knowledge is also developed through public service, policy, technology, design, business, community work, and other forms of practice.
We welcome practitioners who can help young people understand how ideas meet real-world decisions.
For organizations
Better opportunities are often built through collaboration.
Solora is interested in working with organizations that share our interest in young people's intellectual development and meaningful engagement with important questions.
Potential collaborations may include:
- Program partnerships
- Research dialogues
- Youth opportunities
- International exchange
- Educational initiatives
- Community projects
For supporters
